CAN YOU LODGE MY TAX RETURN ELECTRONICALLY?

YES! We lodge tax returns electronically through the electronic lodgment service (ELS) or practitioner lodgment service (PLS). These are electronic online system that enables registered tax agents to lodge income tax returns and other forms, as well as create reports to assist with managing workloads. This offers a safe and secure method of ensuring that our client’s returns are filed quickly and efficiently.

WHAT IF I OWE TAXES AND CANNOT PAY THE FULL AMOUNT?

It is critical that taxpayers lodge and pay all the tax on time. The taxpayer should pay the greatest amount possible to minimise interest and penalties. However, if your circumstances are difficult, we can arrange an extension as well as payment plans with Australian Taxation Office (ATO) to facilitate paying off the debt smoothly.

WHAT IS THE PROCESS FOR SENDING MY TAX RETURNS TO A THIRD PARTY?

As a practicing chartered accounting firm, we follow strict regulations regarding client confidentiality. We will release your information to third parties only if you give us a written authorisation, thus, you need to submit a signed ‘Consent to Disclosure’ Form to us if you need copies of your tax returns sent to a third party.

DO YOU PROVIDE FREE CONSULTATION?

BFS Partners encourages regular contact with clients and only charge fees for agreed upon work. We are happy to discuss your business issues and accounting needs with you, in an obligation free consultation.

MY ACCOUNTANT IS STUCK IN THE DARK AGES, AREYOU ANY DIFFERENT?

We have qualified Chartered Accountants working with us. We also ensure that, all staffs are constantly up-to-date on relevant issues. We always use latest technology and method with the new software packages as well as offer appropriate individual solutions for each of our clients.

AT WHAT HOURS ARE YOU AVAILABLE?

We are available during normal business hours, which is 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday. We can also provide you with special arrangements for early morning, evening, or weekend consultations.

DO YOU REQUIRE ANY ADVANCE PAYMENT FOR THEWORK? IF SO, HOW MUCH?

Our billing policy generally requires our clients to pay 50% of the fees at the commencement of the job and the rest after the work is completed. However, there may be special circumstances, where this policy can vary.
